U13 Girls Finish 3rd in State Tournament
LFC U13 Girls coached by Todd Joiner, Alicia Rossow, and Francisco Costa defeated Land O Lakes (the Region C Champion) 1-0 to finish in 3rd place of the Division II President’s Cup, a statewide tournament held in Ft Myers.

U10 Boys Have Continued Tournament Success

The U10 Boys finished as Runner-Ups in the recent Pasco County tournament, losing a close final 2-1

FYSA State Cup Tournament
|

Congratulations to LFC teams who continued their success this past weekend in the Florida State Cup!
U14 Boys traveled to Plantation, FL to defeat Clearwater Chargers Saturday, 3-0. LFC was led by Drew Yarnell’s 2 goals and Ben Rice added another. Brian Prisbee and Zachary Wesche combined in goal for the shutout. Sunday’s Quarterfinal match was rained out and will be rescheduled vs. Florida Rush.
U14 Girls won Saturday’s matchup 5-1 over Jupiter United, also played in Plantation. Both Bri Folds and Lindsey Eaton scored 2 goals each, while Chloe Lipovetsky notched one goal. The girls will face West Pines next in their State Cup Quarterfinal.
18 Girls won on Saturday 4-1 over CFK, in the round of 16, but were not able to hold off a strong Tampa Bay United side in Sunday’s Quarterfinals, thus being eliminated from the Tournament.
